1. About Us
MLP Electrics Limited is registered in England and Wales (Company No: 12345678). Registered office: 225 London Road, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 9QU, United Kingdom. These terms govern the use of our website and the provision of electrical services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue and are subject to a site survey for larger works. Quotations are not binding until confirmed in writing by MLP Electrics Limited.
3. Scope of Work
All electrical work is carried out to the current 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) by NICEIC Approved engineers. Part P notification is submitted for all notifiable works. Certificates are issued upon completion.
4. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of works unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer, card payment, and cash. Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.
5. Warranty
We provide a 12-month workmanship warranty on all electrical installations. This does not affect your statutory rights. Manufacturer warranties on supplied equipment apply separately and are passed directly to you.
6. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the contract for the specific works. We carry £2,000,000 Public Liability Insurance. We are not liable for pre-existing faults unless specifically engaged to investigate them.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel a booking with at least 48 hours notice without charge. Cancellations within 48 hours of a scheduled visit may incur a call-out fee to cover engineer time.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
